Samuel and David are inconsolable at home, leaving everyone on edge. Meanwhile, Matt starts a new job as a delivery driver at the Dairy Shack. Mary sneaks out to the pool hall to meet Wilson, with Lucy covering for her, but Lucy ends up handling all the chores alone. As Mary spends time with Jordan, Wilson arrives and contemplates returning to Glen Oak, but Mary realizes her feelings for him have faded. Feeling overlooked, Ruthie considers running away and receives her baby book from Annie. Simon orders food from the Dairy Shack to support Matt, who soon gets fired and unexpectedly reunites with an old flame, Shana.
