A month after Eric welcomed Mary's former boyfriend, Robbie, into their home to help him get back on his feet, the situation becomes increasingly chaotic. Robbie has fully integrated into the Camden family, much to Annie’s annoyance. He has become Eric's new 'project,' Ruthie's closest companion, Simon's financial advisor, and, as Mary claims, Lucy's romantic interest. He's even taken on chores, albeit in his own clumsy way. Feeling overwhelmed and questioning her role, Annie wonders if her family still needs her. Meanwhile, Matt feels sidelined by Robbie's presence and unexpectedly drops in on Heather and her new partner.
