With their wedding day drawing near, the family is consumed with preparations. Meanwhile, JJ discovers that Helen is participating in an anti-war movement, while Patty develops a crush on Beth's cousin. Meg battles her emotions as Chris frequently appears in her life. However, when Meg finally confronts her feelings for him, it's too late—Chris has already departed from town.
