Ruthie returns home, leaving Teck uncertain about her feelings for him. Complicating matters, both Teck and Ruthie are interested in the same girl, Malo. Meanwhile, Amaya, still grappling with her breakup with Colin, has stopped eating, prompting concern from her friend Pam during lunch. Amaya confides in Pam about how her previous breakup affected her appetite for a month. Ruthie’s arrival is warmly welcomed by Colin and Matt, but Amaya is less enthusiastic. Teck is taken aback when he discovers that Ruthie has brought Malo along, leading to tension as Malo confronts Teck while Ruthie mingles with the others.
