Meanwhile, Shannon meets her father for the first time, while Burton faces a hearing to determine if he can maintain custody of her. Nick advises James to steer clear of Taliek, who was wrongfully accused of Levi's murder. After Taliek’s unsuccessful attempt to regain custody of his son, James and Larry Flood prepare to head home, unaware that danger awaits them.
