Alvin Masterson is racing against the clock as he prepares to marry Victoria Little while battling ALS. In the meantime, Nick makes his way to Los Angeles. Eager to reconnect, Alvin attempts to bond with Nick, driving to visit his son, whom he hasn't seen since he was seven. To his surprise, he discovers that his son already has a father figure in his life. This revelation leaves Alvin questioning whether marrying Victoria is truly the right choice and if his motivations are genuine.
