Kazuhito Harumi, a young man with a passion for reading, meets an untimely demise during a robbery. In an unexpected twist, he finds himself brought back to life as a dachshund. Soon after, he encounters the enigmatic Kirihime Natsuno, a dark-haired sadist dressed in black, who wields silver scissors and possesses the ability to comprehend him as a dog. To his surprise, she is none other than his beloved author, Akiyama Shinobu.
