Mexico To America (S01E02)

Dan Cruickshank explores the wonders of Mexico, starting with the ancient Mayan city of Palenque, before heading to the Toltecs' impressive Tula. He also admires the mural "Man, Controller of the Universe" in Mexico City. His journey continues in North America, where he visits the former Mexican territory in the USA. There, he encounters a colt revolver, which he considers more of a historical artifact than a work of art, at Cortez. He then travels to Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado, Jefferson's Monticello in Virginia, and in New York, he marvels at both the Statue of Liberty, a gift from France, and the contemporary Seagram Building.
