The lifeless body of a Marine recruiter is discovered at a civilian shooting range, riddled with bullet holes yet strangely devoid of blood. As the investigation unfolds, the team realizes the recruiter was already deceased prior to being shot, indicating his body was moved to the range. Horatio suspects the murder could be linked to the death of a Marine who perished in combat in Iraq. Meanwhile, Natalia is taken aback to find out that Nick has asked Valera on a date, and she has agreed.
