Felicity's past resurfaces when a boy she knew at 12 returns to express his feelings for her. Concerned about the situation, she seeks advice from Ben, who has experience with stalkers. Meanwhile, she also applies for a seminar with geneticist Dr. McGrath. In a turn of events, Todd gets hit by a bus and, while at the hospital, hands Felicity a note she wrote long ago about her artistic aspirations. Todd's close brush with death prompts Felicity to reconsider her career choices, leading her to mess up her interview with Dr. McGrath. Additionally, Julie sends a tape to Carole, and Elena decides to cut ties with Tara.
