When a boy from Felicity's past shows up in town, expressing long-held feelings for her, she turns to Ben, who has experience with stalkers, for advice. Meanwhile, she also applies for a seminar with a geneticist named Dr. McGrath. Things take a turn when Todd gets struck by a bus; as he is brought to the hospital, he hands Felicity a note she wrote years earlier about her dreams of being an artist. Todd's near-death experience prompts Felicity to reassess her career choices, leading her to flub her interview with Dr. McGrath. In other news, Julie sends a tape to Carole, and Elena decides to cut ties with Tara.
