Barry (S16E05)

Born in a small Nova Scotia fishing town, Barry, 50, was raised in a home clouded by alcoholism and abuse. A close relative hurt him as a child, and he learned to drink alongside his mother—both of them trying to numb the pain. Sober, he’s a gentle giant, but a daily 40-ounce vodka habit turns him violent and cruel, pushing away everyone he loves, including his father and his 27-year-old son, who has cut all ties.
