The owners permit him to reunite with his former bowling team for the occasion. However, Mary joins the fray by forming her own team for a competitive showdown between men and women, with the cake-cutting rights at stake for the losing side. Additionally, Buddy's daughter, Sofia, is celebrating her eighth birthday, prompting him to craft a special cake for her communion. Meanwhile, complications arise at the new factory as wiring issues cause construction delays.
