Sam is plagued by visions of a woman imprisoned in his childhood home, prompting him to persuade a hesitant Dean to return to their roots. Upon their arrival, they encounter the woman from Sam’s visions, who discloses that the house is indeed haunted. As they delve into their family's past, the brothers learn that their father sought the help of a psychic following their mother's tragic death, leading them to consult the same woman for guidance. They soon uncover a sinister poltergeist residing in the house and set out to exorcise it, only to be caught off guard by another hidden spirit.
