Second Thoughts (S04E20)

Iris Lloyd, a vibrant woman defying her 60 years, embarks on a trip with her daughter Rebecca, a more traditional career-focused individual. They are accompanied by charming tour guide Frank Bradford, who inadvertently captures Rebecca's attention despite Iris's quirky behavior. Initially, Iris is against her daughter's potential romance with Frank, leading to the cancellation of his tour. However, after an honest conversation, Iris decides to arrange a second outing just for Rebecca and Frank. Meanwhile, Kate Berrenger, recently widowed and a close friend of Peter, seeks comfort from him. When Kate proposes that Peter assist her in becoming a mother through artificial insemination, Christine feels troubled but ultimately leaves the decision to Peter. After attempting to dissuade Kate, Billy advises Peter to consider the implications if roles were reversed, prompting Peter to ultimately decline Kate’s request.
