Dr. Sam Waters (Ally Walker) becomes part of the newly established Violent Crimes Task Force, under the leadership of her mentor, Bailey Malone (Robert Davi), to investigate a series of high-profile arson cases in the South. However, her desire for privacy is disrupted when her stalker, known as Jack-of-all-trades, gains information about her location. To protect herself and her daughter (Caitlin Wachs), along with her best friend Angel (Erica Gimpel), Sam has to relocate while she works on profiling the troubled arsonist (Seth Peterson). John Diehl makes a guest appearance.
