Sam (Ally Walker) and the VCTF team find themselves tormented by a cunning serial killer (guest star Lori Petty, "Free Willy") who employs an array of exotic poisonous creatures to eliminate her victims, all while leaving behind cryptic hints for the detectives. Bailey (Robert Davi) grows increasingly frustrated, particularly with a sultry private investigator (guest star Joan Severance, "Wiseguy") who offers her assistance. However, it’s their chief adversary—a jealous Jack of All Trades—who unexpectedly holds the key to solving the case. Meanwhile, Bailey asks Cooper (A Martinez) to step in for John (Julian McMahon) on the team and takes extreme steps to rein in his wayward daughter (Heather McComb).
