Gary continues his altruistic ways and ends up tangled in the theft of a valuable ancient Chinese helmet that vanished from Los Angeles. Detective Sammo Law arrives in Chicago in pursuit of the helmet. Upon looking into Gary's connection to the case, they discover that Gary unknowingly purchased the helmet as a decorative item. However, the helmet is soon stolen again, prompting Sammo and Gary to join forces to retrieve it. Their mission becomes even more urgent as they must also protect the thief and his niece from ruthless international smugglers intent on claiming the helmet at any cost.
