Erica reconnects with her old friend, Nick Sterling, who appears to be the ideal man. Feeling threatened by their bond, Gary discovers through a newspaper article that Nick plans to propose to Erica. He also learns that the newly constructed hospital, built by Nick, is set to catch fire during its grand opening. Determined to intervene, Gary attends the event, but chaos ensues when the hospital ignites. In a race against time, he must rescue both Nick and Erica from the flames.
