Detectives Ballard and Gharty delve into the mysterious murders of two single women, who were last seen accepting drinks from a married couple. The victims were incapacitated before being strangled. Meanwhile, the rest of the team receives valuable insights that help them make progress on the unresolved Mahoney drug shootings. Their informant is revealed to be Lewis, who has an upcoming hearing. When Ballard and Gharty interrogate the primary suspect, he admits to stunning the women, but insists his wife committed the strangulation. While Ballard doubts her involvement, the evidence increasingly implicates the couple.
