Monty and Joy share an unexpected night together. Meanwhile, Miguel witnesses a shocking murder when one drug dealer kills another, making him the next target for the killer. On his first day back at work, Sully is partnered with Faith, who struggles to handle his irritability and negative demeanor. When he leaves a prisoner unrestrained and unattended, Faith insists he go home, stating he’s not ready to return. Later, Sully, inebriated, heads to his mother’s nursing home. Overwhelmed with emotion about Tatiana, he tries to force his way in when the receptionist denies him entry, prompting her to call the police. When Hancock arrives, Sully confronts him about Nancy in front of the other officers who have come to escort him home.
