Blood Ties (S05E26)
The Heelers are left confused by PJ's odd behavior after a domestic violence incident brings a married couple into the station. Maggie is particularly anxious, suspecting that PJ may be involved with the woman, a nurse from the local hospital. However, it turns out that she needs PJ's support to deliver devastating news to her husband. PJ eventually confides in Maggie, explaining the reason behind his unusual actions. After rescuing a severely injured driver, the nurse reveals that she contracted HIV from a needle-stick injury while treating him. Now, PJ fears he might be infected, putting both him and Maggie at risk as they await the results of his blood test. Meanwhile, security footage shows the driver robbing a service station with a syringe full of blood.
