Late one evening, a battered lawyer arrives at Ironside's doorstep, disoriented and struggling to recall the events leading to his condition. The only fragment of memory he clings to is that of a man in peril, stranded on a sinking vessel. Unfortunately, he lacks any details about the boat's location or the identity of the man in distress. Chief Ironside embarks on a frantic quest to locate the endangered individual before time runs out.
