The pilgrims, having lost their direction, inadvertently venture toward Mt. Blue Wolf, where grotesque wolf demons strut about with arrogance. The chief of these demons, the Blue Wolf Demon, has a hunger for human flesh and targets the delectable Tripitaka. In the midst of their search for sustenance, Dragon plummets off a cliff. He is saved by a farmer named Ri Shishin, who is not as innocent as he appears; the Blue Wolf Demon entices him with an irresistible deal to track down Tripitaka.
