To celebrate Johnny Cash's guest appearance, the episode is broadcast simultaneously on country station WHOG, but the radio coverage begins to overshadow the live event. Big Tiny Tall Saddle, the head of WHOG, takes control and denies Rowlf a chance to perform, opting instead for Grampaw McGuire and his whistling bricks. Kermit attempts to manage the show his way, but Big Tiny, known for his intimidating demeanor, has a penchant for using microphone stands as weapons when he’s displeased. Meanwhile, Fozzie is sidelined by Wally Whoopie, a comedian who mocks him, prompting Kermit to defend Fozzie and assert his vision for the show.
