A Killer in Town (S02E04)

Bounty hunter George Wolfe (Broderick Crawford) arrives in Medicine Bow after receiving a tip from a now-deceased informant about a fugitive hiding in town. The informant had left a letter disclosing the fugitive's identity locked away in a bank box, but it can only be accessed once the circuit judge returns to issue a court order. Trampas, who unwittingly got mixed up with criminals two years prior, fears he’s Wolfe’s target, raising the bounty hunter’s suspicions. Just as tensions rise, a typhoid fever outbreak complicates the situation even further.
