Jonathan unexpectedly encounters his wife, but in his new appearance, she fails to recognize him. He approaches her, requesting permission for himself and Mark to stay. Initially resistant, she softens when he tells her to "keep smiling," a familiar phrase from his previous self. Once inside, they realize she’s feeling isolated, especially since their daughter lives far away and is reluctant to visit. To remedy this, Jonathan sends Mark to persuade their daughter to come see her mother, but she and her husband decline. Frustrated, Jonathan disguises himself as a gigolo to confront them, ultimately provoking them to visit her.
