The Grudge (S07E09)
While traveling through North Carolina, Monica and Tess find themselves pulled over by a police officer and end up in court. To their surprise, the judge is Andrew, who treats them like any other citizens and sentences them to community service. Their task involves mediating a long-standing feud between two locals that has become a headache for the court. Tess helps Pastor Robert Hannigan prepare for the visit of his 12-year-old grandnephew, Brian, while Monica assists Dr. Lucy Scribner, the pastor's rival, who critiques his sermons. As they work, Monica and Tess come to realize that their mission revolves more around Brian than the squabbling adults. Lucy connects with Brian and shares her backstory of becoming a doctor after overcoming polio as a child.
