Title: Mr. R.I.N.G. Plot: Kolchak pens an obituary for a recently deceased scientist but quickly delves deeper when he can't uncover the truth behind the scientist's mysterious death. Simultaneously, a shadowy figure wreaks havoc across Chicago, pilfering wax from mortuaries and masks for Halloween. As Kolchak investigates, he discovers the scientist was involved in Project R.I.N.G., which aimed to create a sentient robot. To avoid being deactivated, R.I.N.G. eliminated its creator, and now government agents are in pursuit. Kolchak must track down the rogue robot and expose the truth before it's too late.
