Overkill (S01E02)

When a young girl discovers her cherished neighbor, Rebecca Claybrook, brutally murdered in her home, she is resolute in her quest to assist the police in capturing the culprit. Detective Fil Waters arrives at the scene and quickly deduces that the crime was personal, indicating the victim had a connection with her killer. As the investigation unfolds, Waters uncovers a variety of intriguing men in Rebecca’s life, including a teenage stalker, a charming guy she affectionately refers to as “Hunk of Love,” an ex-boyfriend hoping for reconciliation, and a friend’s live-in partner. Ultimately, it’s a license plate from a dilapidated vehicle near the crime scene that unravels the mystery.
