While driving a television executive named Mitch in his cab, Jim showcases his psychic abilities by predicting TV ratings. The following day, Mitch returns, eager for more insights that could help save his job. Jim begins to assist Mitch regularly, leading him to rise in prominence at the network. However, Jim's friends soon persuade him that he’s being exploited without any compensation. Fueled by anger, Jim confronts Mitch, who promises to introduce him to the network's top executives and secure him a job. In a surprising twist, Jim reconsiders, deciding he doesn’t want to profit from his psychic gift.
