Episode 5 (S01E05)

Peter is approached by a woman seeking a divorce after uncovering her husband's transvestism. Meanwhile, Lyle initially agrees to defend a horse owner against Romany travellers but soon finds himself siding with the travellers instead. In a moment of clarity, Beatrice confronts Peter about Simon's mysterious disappearance. A financial windfall enables Peter to settle Simon's gambling debts, but after doing so, he learns that this resolution won't put an end to the ongoing issues.
