To combat the cold, marine mammals have evolved various adaptations. Whales, dolphins, and walruses rely on a thick layer of blubber for insulation, preserving their warmth. Meanwhile, sea otters have dense fur that traps air, aiding in buoyancy and keeping them warm as they dive underwater in search of food. These unique traits enable marine mammals to thrive across the globe's oceans.
