When friendships shatter and hidden truths come to light, Immortal Andrew Cord is shot down, leading MacLeod to a shocking revelation: the shooter is his former friend, Charlie DeSalvo, who once managed the dojo. Charlie, driven by vengeance for Cord, who killed his beloved Maria while he was away fighting in the Balkans, is on a relentless quest for justice. Dawson, familiar with Cord as the man who saved him in Vietnam after a mine took his legs, pleads with MacLeod to avoid confrontation. MacLeod concedes—until Cord shifts his focus onto Charlie.
