Four chefs enter a tense elimination round, needing to prove themselves before Monica and Gregg for the chance to cook for the esteemed Michel. They begin with a skills challenge that involves jointing a rabbit and a palate test where they must prepare scrambled eggs. From there, the three remaining chefs tackle two more demanding challenges set by Michel and Gregg. They have just 50 minutes to create two dishes featuring calves' liver as the main ingredient, followed by the task of replicating the classic dishes of matelotte d'anguille and crème brûlée.
