Fathers and Lovers (S03E15)

Melissa finds herself at odds with Lee regarding his job search and with her father about his intentions to purchase her building. During a family dinner, she expresses her worries about her building potentially being converted into condominiums. To her surprise, her father, Murray, offers to co-sign a loan to help her buy it. While browsing through Lee's sketchbook, Melissa admires his talent and suggests he’s too skilled to be a house painter, offering her assistance. Later, at DAA, she learns of a trainee position and thinks of Lee. Although he seems disinterested, he reluctantly attends the interview with Courtney, which turns out to be disastrous due to his lack of experience and ambition in advertising.
