DC Danny Glaze witnesses a man being set on fire at the Larkmead Estate, sparking his resolve to crack the case. The team spots a suspect's vehicle on CCTV footage, and Insp. Monroe finds a key witness, a girl named Rochelle, who identifies the suspect, Dominic Mileham, during an identity parade. However, Rochelle abruptly recants her statement, claiming Danny bribed her to name Mileham, putting the suspect and his lawyer father at risk of walking free. Determined to gather evidence, Danny takes a bold step and persuades Rochelle to wear a wire to capture Mileham's confession.
