Toby the Tram Engine and his devoted coach, Henrietta, diligently operate their quaint railway line. One day, they receive a special visit from a stout gentleman known as the Fat Controller, along with his wife and grandchildren, Stephen and Bridget, who quickly grow fond of Toby. However, several months later, the unfortunate news arrives that the line is to be closed. Unbeknownst to Toby, a heartfelt letter from a certain influential figure will soon change his fate and secure his future.
