As Rose faces a challenging surgery, her friends gather to share laughter and reminisce about good times, but their joy is interrupted when Rose's daughter, Kirsten, discovers them. Upset by their merriment, Kirsten forbids them from seeing Rose. Later, she visits her mother, who is in a dazed state, leading to a hilariously awkward conversation. After realizing the girls' concern for Rose, Kirsten decides to mend fences with them. When Rose finally returns home, the group organizes a surprise party to celebrate the beloved St. Olaf native's recovery!
