Back in Denver, Dog is on the trail of a woman implicated in identity theft, but the twist is that the identity she’s stolen is her own. She has sacrificed a promising future for a life of crime. Dog and his team scour the seedy underbelly of Colorado Springs, exploring dive bars, greasy diners, and sketchy motels in search of clues to find this once-promising girl gone astray. The case intensifies when Dog manages to contact the fugitive, but rather than agreeing to surrender, she mocks him, insisting she’ll never be captured. This only strengthens Dog's determination to apprehend her.
