After Mr. French becomes overly strict with the children, Bill concludes that he needs to ease up a bit. To help him, Bill brings in Emily Turner, who quickly charms the kids with her relaxed and open-minded approach. However, Mr. French isn't pleased with Emily's laid-back demeanor and believes there's only room for one housekeeper in their home. Eventually, he comes to see Emily's value and recognizes how well they can collaborate, leading to a newfound partnership between them.
