Hidden beneath a contemporary holiday village in Suffolk are traces of early Stone Age life dating back 400,000 years. While human remains from this era in England are extremely uncommon, the team is optimistic about uncovering remnants of animals and plants. To succeed, they will need to excavate deeply. They receive assistance from palaeontologists Simon Parfitt and Andy Currant from the Natural History Museum. Andy highlights the significance of voles in helping to date these ancient findings.
