The only remnant of Bridgnorth Castle is its towering 70-foot Norman structure. The team gathers in the park, working to envision what the castle looked like during its prime, nearly 900 years ago. To uncover more, they need to dig beyond the scheduled monument's boundaries. Phil and a group of enthusiasts set about reconstructing a 12th-century catapult, called a perrier. They’re joined by castle expert Philip Dixon, Mark Horton from Bristol University, Small Finds specialist Lynne Bevan, and students from Oldbury Wells School. Ultimately, Philip provides insights into the castle's architecture and layout.
