Rumpole and the Summer of Discontent (S06E02)

Title: Rumpole and the Season of Unrest Plot: Rumpole finds himself in front of Mr. Justice Guthrie Featherstone, representing a union member accused of causing the death of a truck driver who attempted to cross a picket line. As the trial unfolds, Guthrie contemplates staging a protest of his own against new courtroom privileges granted to ordinary solicitors. Back at home, Hilda surprises Rumpole by announcing her intention to go on strike as well, adding to the tension of the summer.
