Rumpole finds himself defending his own physician, who faces accusations of sexually assaulting a female patient, while his friend Phyllida takes on the role of prosecutor. Meanwhile, Claude Erskine-Brown gets into trouble when Phyllida suspects he’s seeking female companionship through discreet ads in a questionable magazine.
