Danny has started dating Denise and decides to invite her along with her friends Zoey and Cheryl to meet Jesse and Joey at home. Meanwhile, D.J. is upstairs watching over Stephanie and Michelle. To Danny's surprise, Denise turns out to be an ex-girlfriend of Jesse's, leading him to wonder if there’s any woman in San Francisco Jesse hasn’t dated. While Zoey isn’t a fan of Joey’s humor, Cheryl and Joey hit it off well. Danny feels downhearted as Denise seems to still have feelings for Jesse, but a conversation with him helps her regain clarity. In the midst of it all, Stephanie inadvertently causes D.J. to drop Danny's wedding ring down the bathroom sink. With some teamwork from Denise and the guys, they manage to retrieve the lost ring.
