The family is heading to Colorado for Christmas with relatives, a trip that Danny has meticulously organized. However, an unexpected blizzard forces their plane to make an emergency landing at a strange airport. Stuck in the baggage claim area, they believe their Christmas is ruined. Amid the chaos, Jesse's dad, Nick, encourages Jesse to kiss Becky under some mistletoe, while D.J. is upset over the disappearance of their gifts. Meanwhile, Michelle is frightened by Lionel, a man who upset her on the flight. Frustrated by everyone’s negativity, Jesse reminds them of the true spirit of Christmas. Just then, Santa Claus arrives to help find the missing gifts, revealing that Lionel is actually Santa.
