Teaser: Joey shares a joke with Michelle, who eagerly learns it. In the main story, D.J. becomes the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper and shows favoritism by appointing Kimmy as the sports page editor. When Kimmy submits a piece that reads more like gossip than sports news, D.J. insists on a rewrite. Kimmy's refusal leads to her dismissal, sparking a rivalry between the two, though they eventually reconcile. Meanwhile, Double J Creative Services is tasked by a TV station to create a commercial for "Wake Up, San Francisco," but working with Danny proves to be quite a challenge. Additionally, Michelle engages in an "echo" game with Stephanie, driving her sister up the wall with constant repetition.
