Michelle tells Jesse she has a little “owie.” Due to a sickness, the Aronson Chimps are unable to perform as scheduled for Wayne Newton in Las Vegas, leading Joey's agent to book him as their replacement. While Joey packs for the trip, Jesse suggests he should invite his mom, Mindy, to attend the show, but Joey explains that she’s busy working as Goofy at Disney World. Instead, Jesse proposes inviting Joey's dad, Colonel Gladstone, but Joey doubts he can make it. This sparks an idea for D.J. and Stephanie to secretly invite the Colonel. After leaving a message on his answering machine, the family heads to Vegas. However, in Joey's dressing room, Stephanie accidentally reveals their plan to Joey.
