After returning home from the summer tour with the Rippers, Jesse learns that Becky is expecting twins. While Becky is overjoyed by the news, Jesse feels overwhelmed by the prospect of double the responsibility, fearing he might fail as a father. With the family's support, he gradually comes to terms with his anxieties and shares in Becky's excitement. They've decided to wait until the babies are born to find out their genders. Meanwhile, the new school year begins, and Stephanie feels apprehensive about 4th grade until she meets her charming new teacher, Mr. Lowry, who captures her interest. Michelle, on the other hand, is anxious about kindergarten but quickly makes a friend in her classmate, Teddy.
